“The Complexity of Life”

Final Exam:

We are created in the image of God.  God is community.

Disciple making is about who we are.  As opposed to what we do.

Why do we find it so hard to live in community?

We long for the benefits of community, but we resist the demands of community.

As the world experiences the love we have for each other, they will seek it for themselves.

Three New Testament Greek words for life:

1.    Bios – Biology, the study of life.  Refers to life in the body.

2.    Psuche – Psychology, the study of the soul.  Refers to something other than our physical life.

3.    Zoe – A higher life.  Comes through faith in Jesus.
