What is authority?
“Delegated power in the form of a warrant, license or authorization to perform.”
Why did the religious leaders ask their question?
Because they didn’t give Jesus any authority.
Why did Jesus ask his question?
He wanted everyone to know who was giving the religious leaders their authority?
